Welcome to my page. I'm Robin Selig (she, her) a Brooklyn based therapist with over 18 years of clinical experience. Therapy may be new for you and I appreciate the bravery it takes to embark on this journey. I believe the work of the therapist is not to provide magical answers, but to help people find their own answers and inner strength. I love watching people grow and evolve.

I am guided by social justice and feminist principals. Affordable mental health care is a social justice issue. Everyone deserves to have a meaningful life. Together we we will explore what’s going on with you through psychodynamic and CBT techniques. We will explore how your thoughts and past experiences influence your current situation and emotional state. I also utilize a lot of humor in my practice because life is really hard, and we need to be able to laugh whenever possible.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Human Development from Binghamton University, and Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. For over 18 years, I have been providing intensive therapeutic services to individuals and families impacted by chronic illness, disability, complex social stressors and trauma.
